French giants Paris Saint-Germain have released a brief update on Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
The duo sustained injuries while on international duty on Tuesday and the club has confirmed the two will require further medical tests ahead of next week’s crucial Champions League encounter with Liverpool.
Mbappe was withdrawn in the first half of Les Bleus 1-0 friendly win over Uruguay with team-mate Neymar suffering the same fate for Brazil after just eight minutes on the same night against Cameroon.
According to the update, Neymar has been diagnosed with “a brief right adductor strain”, while Mbappe has “a bruised right shoulder”.
“They will undergo a 48-hour period of treatment before further evaluation,” the club added
