Maraga to dissolve parliament, Says Mutahi Ngunyi

On Tuesday Members of the August house continued with the gender bill debate in Parliament that would allocate atleast a third of all seats in parliament to women.

The goodnews however is, the Bill has the backing of both President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga and are optimistic that it will pass.

However a few leaders are finding the gender bill as they say a waste of time, one 0f the leaders against the bill is Joshua Kutuny who was a strong ally of the deputy president but it seems the bromance is not as much as before.

In the meantime, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has given his opinion regarding the much hyped gender bill.

While taking to his twitter account he said, “If the GENDER BILL does not pass, Article 261 of the constitution gives POWERS to Maraga to DISSOLVE Parliament. Given his HISTORY, Maraga WILL DISSOLVE Parliament. MPs should be AFRAID. Very AFRAID.

Mutahi’s sentiments brought alot of uproar on twitter with reactions from online users.
