Is KCPE Exam Results Ready For Release??

President Uhuru Kenyatta made an error that caused excitement over KCPE examination results which are expected to be released next week.

Speaking during the unveiling of Gachororo PCEA Church in Juja on sunday, the Head of State let it slip that there was a possibility that the results would be announced tomorrow.

Addressing the candidates present he stated, “and when we will announce the results tomorrow.”

Upon realising his error he recoiled igniting laughs from the congregation, “ah, now what have I said?”

He, however, gave with a word of encouragement to all those who sat for the national exams assuring that they would all have slots to secondary schools.

“When we will announce the results, I want to tell our children that because we know you did your best, do not be afraid just because you attained a particular grade because, like I said, the most important thing is that everyone who sat the Standard 8 exam will be admitted to Form One,” he stated.

He added that every pupil would have received their secondary school enrollment letters before the Christmas season rolled in.

President Uhuru promised that school children enrolled in form one would have their expenses covered by the government.

It is our responsibility to ensure that our young children access basic education up to secondary level and the government will provide opportunities in the vocational centers, in universities. Let us not allow our children to loiter and instead, let them be in school,” he conveyed.

He further welcomed efforts channelled towards setting up churches in the country, noting that it was part of the journey to having a better nation.

“As we pull our resources together to construct these places of worship, we also contribute towards the well being of our society.

“My Government will closely engage religious organizations towards instilling better morals among our young people,” held President Uhuru.
