Not Going Anywhere! Gor Mahia Tattoos To Remain, Dylan Kerr Assures

That is a bold move and also admirable. Dylan Kerr has assured Gor Mahia faithfuls that the two tattoos of the club’s crest on his foot are “here to stay.”

Kerr mutually parted ways with the 17-time Kenyan champions Wednesday after two successful seasons, leaving many asking if he would erase them.

The Malta-born Englishman inked the first tattoo after winning his maiden league title with Gor Mahia in 2017.

He added another this year after retaining the crown in style with six matches to spare.

The news of his departure late Thursday came as a shocker at a time the club is preparing to resume continental football in two weeks’ time.

For the better part of the evening, the former Simba SC coach was the top trending topic in Kenya with many taking to twitter to share past memories and wish him well.

“Always in our hearts and prayers,” Fess tweeted.

“You made me love Gor Mahia,” another tweet by Emmanuel reads.

In his resignation letter, Kerr said that “with a very sad heart, l have decided to accept another coaching role for the 2018/19 season.”

Grapevine is rife that he is headed for a coaching job in the South Africa’s Premier Soccer League.
