This man Obado; Is he guilty or a victim of political witch haunt?

They say when it rains, it pours but in the case of Migor governor Okoth Obado, it is more than pouring. It is flooding.

For the second time in less than a month, Obado spend the night in a cold cell after he was dramatically arrested by sleuths at a five star lodge in Nairobi.

This time he is accused of being in possession of eight illegal weapons which were recovered from his Nairobi and Migori homes on Wednesday morning. The firearms were recovered by EACC detectives.

EACC had raided his homes, looking for evidence to charge the governor with misappropriation of public funds in his capacity as the CEO of Migori County government. A number of financial institution statements and electronics were additionally seized throughout the swoop.

So is Obado guilty or just a victim of political witch haunt ? Several people think it is political witch haunt. His lawyer Cliff Ombeta believes, the governor’s present woes have been instigated by politics.
