Furious Kenyans react after Media house buys TV for Kibera Man

Angry Kenyans have reacted to the philanthropic gesture by KTN news to gift a Kibera man with a TV for being a loyal fan.

According to Kenyans, their great concern is that the man seemingly lives in a pitifuful house and even the environment is not safe to own a TV they say.. Now that everyone knows that Christmas came early for him.

The KTN news team went to his house earlier today after the promise of delivering this gift to him after he showed his loyalty

The move by the media house to gift Kevin Ogure came after the comedian  shared a photo that went viral a couple months ago. In the photo he had seemingly gathered children to watch TV yet the screen was made of a box with the KTN NEWS logo and two aerials connected to the box.

The media house had announced that they were looking for that family on twitter. Following the  response by the comedian  saying that he was the man behind the photo and was asked to give his contact.

As revealed by KTN News, Kevin Ogure lives in Kibra with his 18 years old sister. They are orphans. Ogure is passionate about comedy and enjoys making memes.

Kenyans went ahead to suggest that the media house should have gotten the man a house, or at least a job.

Some reasoned that it did not make sense for them to offer him a TV set yet they could have given him capital to start a job.
