Will this town of Gachie ever trend for the right reasons?
On Tuesday night, Quack doctor Mugo Wairimu was arrested by DCI detectives after being on the run since the exposé on his evil clinic aired two weeks ago.
The arrest was confirmed at Gachie, Kiambu county following leads that proved fruitful for the officers of the law.

Even as the culprit is prepared for processing in court, focus is on this village where all manner of drama has happened from carjacking to drunkenness on to every manner of lawlessness.
In a report by the standard two years ago this is how the reporter introduced his report… “Imagine an area so close to the capital Nairobi yet so far from the instruments of security enjoyed by foreign envoys. Its an area that is ruled by unruly gangs who unleash wanton terror on residents, without blinking an eye to the existence of security agencies.”
Majority of opinions expressed remorse with the state of the town just close to the city of Nairobi and expressed doubt that a solution will be found. Its proximity to the city has also bee termed as a perfect breeding ground for gangs.
I've seen Gachie trending but knowing it's in Kiambu, I won't even check it, it must be trending for the wrong reasons.

“The area is depriving the county government of revenue since there is no economic activity. No shops are open, the residents are agitated and they have started refraining from paying taxes,” a resident told the Star.
“People have been carjacked at gunpoint when they slow down due to the potholes. Others are mugged. There is no drainage system, leading to vehicles plunging into potholes.” he added.
