Willis Raburu’s emotional farewell message to Joey Muthengi

It is not goodbye but its see you later.Those were the words of Joey Muthengi as she bid goodbye to her fans on her last show on Citizen TV’s 10/10.

Well seems someone will be alone for sometime but hey life has to move on right?

 

Joey Muthengi’s co-host Willis Raburu has finally reacted to his Co-host’s departure from the Citizen Tv’s family.While taking it to his instagram page he wrote,

“What a ride it has been. You inspire me with your passion and meticulous planning, your organization and your amazing spirit. Most people don’t even understand our chemistry or how hard it is to find in this industry. Outside of it you are my friend. Never judging, always protecting and simply put, you get me. Thanks for coping with the noise and for standing with me always in good times and bad (it’s been quite the year) . Listen, God’s got such amazing plan for your life you have no idea. No one can dim your shine. So @joeymuthengi shine on! Imma be here cheering you through it all. God bless you Young J! ???”

In his farewell message to Joey,  Raburu said that the screen siren and now his former co-host inspired him in many ways.

In addition, he said that Ms. Muthengi had also been a good friend to him outside work, and she stood with him in good and in bad times as they worked together.

His message came a few hours after Ms. Joey signed off from the Citizen TV on Friday with an emotional message that saw her break down on live TV.

Muthengi’s entry into the media industry started off with her being a presenter at Capital FM from 2009-2013 where she hosted and produced ‘Hits Not Homework’ popular with youth program.

From early 2016, she worked in Citizen Tv in the programme Power Breakfast show with Fred Indimuli and Wilis Raburu.

She is the brand ambassador of Betin with Kenyan football star Mc Donald Mariga.
