Diana Marua reveals her marriage journey with Bahati

Gospel singer Kevin Bahati’s wife Diana Marua has disclosed that they do not have a perfect marriage, as most people think.
Speaking on the Trend, the mother of one said that what people see on social media is only part of their lives and they have issues like any other couple.

“I really want to make it clear, you see people see us out there and they think that we are perfect family but we are not we go through issues just like any other person and I get so many DM’s on the same,” said Diana.

She said this while she responded to the question on how it was like for her when they revealed details of their breakup on their reality TV show Being Bahati.

According to Diana Marua, they aired the private side of their lives including going for counselling because it’s what people need to do whenever they have issues in their family.

“It was to show people that it happens and it can happen to anyone and if it gets to that point seek a third-party. Talk to someone who is neutral to help you solve your problem,” said Mama Heaven.

In the interview Marua also disclosed that Bahati was the best father and he sacrifices a lot for their young family, despite his busy schedule.

Diana Marua who turned 31 tied the knot with Bahati at a private wedding ceremony at her parents’ home in Komarock.

Diana who has a Diploma certificate in Information Technology and a Diploma certificate in marketing and communication at KCA and St. Pauls Universities respectively met Bahati as a video vixen for his song “Mapenzi”. The two started off as friends before they began to date officially .

The husband of Diana Marua, Bahati (Kevin Mbuvi) was born in 1994 and is six years younger than Diana who is 29 years old. Bahati is a popular Kenyan gospel artist who has released a number of hit songs and boasts of a large fan base in the country.

He first made headlines in 2012 as a new kid in the entertainment industry and his humility and talent put him up in the big league. His difficult childhood encouraged him to work hard and become the best in the gospel music industry competing with the likes of Willy Paul.

He lost his parents at a young age and was forced to go to the ABC orphanage in Mathare slums in order to get shelter and education. Bahati won the 2014 groove award for the best male gospel musician in the country.
