A thread that started off as one tweet has now become a name and shame list of Kenyan artists who have in the recent past made empty promises to their fans. First off was Camp Mulla, a Kenyan group that incorporates hip hop and RnB composed of Taio Tripper, Young Kass, K’Cous, Miss.Karun and Mykie Tuchi.
Camp Mulla got their first public appearance on 12 February 2011 at Collo’s Valentine’s Day concert where he introduced Camp Mulla in public to perform for the first time.

Music group, Just A Band a few years ago announced that they are going on a two year hiatus. The band, which is comprised of Bill ‘Blinky Bill’ Sellanga, Mbithi Masya and Daniel Muli had been active since 2008 before they took a break to concentrate on their individual projects.
Elani lied that they had an album

In 2014, Elani released their one and only album ‘Barua ya Dunia’ and have since been off the scene disappointing fans with their inconsistency.
The band consisting of Brian Chweya, Maureen Kunga and Wambui Ngungi had announced that they will be returning to music via their Instagram page sometime back.
“Counting down days to the 08.8.18 for the release of our first single… Get here already!!!!#COLOURSOFLOVE #newelanimusic” they wrote.
However, it’s now November and we’re yet to get any new album from the trio.

In 2011, Sauti Sol released their hit song ‘Coming Home’, and promised that the video would be continued. Almost seven years later, the video is yet to be continued as fans have been left with suspense.
