Former TV anchor pleads with well wishers for financial support to bury his wife

Former KBC journalist Milton Nyakundi has now appealed for financial support from well wishers to help him raise money to bury his wife.

Taking to his facebook page Nyakundi pleaded to well wishers to come and support him to carter for funeral expenses.

“We have started meeting daily at Garden Square (in Nairobi’s CBD) from 5pm. Burial date is Friday November 16, 2018 at our home in Nyamira (County) Please support me in giving my wife a befitting send-off.  0704 227 664. That for your prayers and support.”  he said in a Facebook

Nyakundi’s wife perished after she was attacked by a group of gangsters who pushed her into River Nanyuki where she drowned.

Earlier, Nyakundi had explained his wife – known as Becky Gitau – perished after she was attacked by unknown people before being pushed into River Nanyuki where she drowned on October 29.

According to Mr Nyakundi, his wife suffered head injuries indicating that she may have been hit on the head before she met her death.

“Too many questions remain unanswered because she may have been hit unconscious before being pushed to the river but we leave everything to the almighty God for vengeance belongs to Him,” he wrote.

Nyakundi’s wife will be buried on November 16, in Nyamira county.
