PHOTOS: How students get ‘creative’ when cheating in exams

I find it pretty disturbing that the level of creativity students have when it comes to cheating in exams is higher than that they use when studying for these national examinations.

Even with the warning of serious actions to be taken if students are caught cheating, some seem to be unshaken. Worse even the fact that frisking is done before the students walk into the exam room yet some still manage to get away with it.

Could this mean that student take their time to  come up with cheating strategies that will beat supervisors in their game and efforts to root out these culprits.

This cheating disease starts all the way from primary and hardcore take it all the way up even in universities.

KCSE 2018 exams kicked off on Monday with over 600,000 candidates sitting for Maths and Chemistry papers.

Even with the tight security that was put in place some students still attempted to cheat in exams. Is this courage or foolishness?

Earlier  today, Kenya National Examination Board revealed how the exam council and security officials netted suspects who were attempting to cheat in a school in Kisii County.

It is also shocking how Kisii is said to be leading in cheating in exams..the perception is clear not just in the 2018 national examination but it seems like Kisii has set a record on this even in previous years.

Kenyans have reacted to this ‘creativity’ from writing on arms and thighs to manipulating a calculator. They call it the googling calculator.

If one can get this innovative I think there is a level of intelligence they posses that could help them nail it in their exams even without the help of google or scribbled notes on their bodies.

What do you think is the major cause of cheating in exams?
