Nicki Minaj sets notable record on the Billboard 100 Chart

Nicki Minaj is winning again days after she bagged two awards in the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards. The Rap Queen is on the headlines after the unleashing of the 2018 billboard chart.

Nicki Minaj officially made history as she became the first woman with 100 appearances on the Billboard hot 100 chart.

It is also said that the only artists in the billboard Hot 100 history to achieve 100 entries are Drake, Lil Wayne, Elvis Presley and now Nicki Minaj who has recently joined in.

The Billboard Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine.

Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States.

Nicki Minaj is one of the most influential female artists and her rap game is way up there any of her fans can attest to this.

She was the first female artist included on MTV’s annual Hottest MC List. Two years ago, Minaj was included on the annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

As a lead artist, she has earned four top-five entries on the Billboard Hot 100: “Super Bass” in 2011, “Starships” in 2012, and “Bang Bang” and “Anaconda”, both in 2014. She has the most Billboard Hot 100 entries among women of all genres in the chart’s history. (wikipedia)

Minaj also credits her fans for most of her achievements. She took to her social media yesterday ago to thank fans for their support and voting her for the MTV EMA and for this recent notable achievement.
