Is Arsene Wenger headed to Italy?

Former Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is reportedly set to be appointed as AC Milan boss, replacing Gennaro Gatusso.

Wenger, who stayed at Arsenal for 22 years is without a club since leaving the north London side at the end of last season.

As reported by France Football, the Italian side is in talks to appoint Wenger as their new manager soon. The Frenchman had revealed he would soon be managing a club, however, he didn’t mention the club he will be in charge of.

During Wenger’s 22-year stay with the north London side, he has won the Premier League three times, one of which involved an unbeaten ‘Invincibles’ campaign.

He is also the most successful manager in the history of the FA Cup, having won the competition a record seven times.

Milan’s current priority is to return to the Champions League having not played in Europe’s premier club competition since 2013-14.
