Celebrated Nigerian Star WizKid has landed in the Nairobi this morning ahead of the Katika Festival.
Wizkid announced his visit to Kenya weeks ago and his Kenyan fans have been ready for days.
The Nigerian artist will be performing during the Katika Festival on the 3rd of November alongside Kenyan Artists.
His trip to Kenya comes weeks after he unleashed his latest masterpiece ‘ Fever’ featuring Nigerian beauty and superstar Tiwa Savage. Kenyans had earlier requested that he should come with Tiwa Savage but seems like he is here on a solo trip.
It is all hype and cheers upon his touchdown on Kenya’s soil as fans are looking forward to the grand festival which is set to be in Nakuru County tomorrow.
Wizkid is set to headline the first edition of Katika Festival in Nakuru, Afraha Stadium. This will be the debut of Katika Festival which will be a bi-monthly event set to be taking place in different locations in Kenya.
The festival aims to create memorable, exciting out of town events for road trip and party lovers.
Other artists who will b performing in this festival include, Fena Gitu, Khaligraph Jones, H_art the band,DJ Creme, Gene Bakari, Le Band and Dj Creme is also in this mix.
The hosts/ MCs during the event will be Kenyan Comedian and radio presenter MC Jalango and Taliya Oyando who is a TV host and Radio Presenter at HomeBoyzRadio.
