FROM NEPAD TO KAREN: Raila Soothe’s Kalonzo

Former Prime Minister and new AU High envoy for Infrastructure and Development, Raila Odinga might be a busy man but that does not mean that he is too busy for his friends especially those that got stuck with him at River Jordan on their way to Canaan.

The opposition Chief today visited former president Kalonzo Musyoka at his Karen home to condole with him following the death of his father Mr. Peter Musyoka Mairu.

Kalonzo’s dad, Peter Musyoka Mairu died at the age of 94 at Nairobi Hospital where he was undergoing treatment.

“Condoled my brother at his Karen home following the passing on of his Father the late Mzee Peter Musyoka Mairu. We ask the Lord to grant comfort to his family at this trying moment and may his soul rest in eternal peace,” said Raila
