The Secretary of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication in the Office of the President, Dennis Itumbi, has responded to hilarious memes and comments following his post on the release of journalist Jacque Maribe.
Through his social media pages, Itumbi stated that the hundreds of comments and memes made his day, adding a dose of laughter to the news of Maribe’s release from Langata Womens Prison.
“Hahaaa I am not even halfway of all comments on my timeline and I am laughing at every scroll upwards. Asanteni for the laughter! Hahaaaa waah,” wrote Itumbi.
In an earlier post, he had announced to the world that the embattled Citizen TV journalist was out on bail.
“Jacque Maribe, has just driven out the gates of Langata Womens Prison. Home, sweet home. Thanks for maombi.”
A post that saw Kenyans on Twitter jump on it like starving piranhas and the comments was nothing short of a comic strip as creatives netizens put him up to speed on what was to come next.
