Unbelievable:Man caught inside girls’examroom

 

How can a man dressed in girl’s uniform  failed to be noticed during security scrutiny?

With all the security measures put in place by the national examination body, a man dressed in a girl’s school uniform made his ways in the examination room.

The man was  arrested at Mukuyu girls Secondary school in Kakamega county during the KCSE music  practicals.

His skills on the instruments appeared to be that of a professional which made the examiner raised alarm.

The man is said to be a form 3 student at Eden Valley School in Uasin Gishu County. The man is yet to be identified.

The Music teacher and the principal  have been arrested after the incident. The  man is being held at Lamukanda police station and will be arraigned at a court in Eldoret.

Confirming the incident, Criminal Intelligence Officer, Mr John Onyango, stated that the man was a form three student at Eden Valley Secondary School in Uasin Gishu County.

The officer stated that the suspect had been apprehended at Lumakanda Police Station and would be arraigned in court in Eldoret town.

Additional reports indicate that the school’s principal Christina Kitabi and the music teacher were also taken into custody following the incident.

At the same time, police have arrested a security guard in Kajiado for allegedly attempting to sneak in fake exams papers.

Police in Kajiado have arrested a watchman at Bissil Girls’ secondary school after an attempt to sneak in some examination documents.

The guard was arrested on Monday and handed over to the DCI. He reportedly tried to sneak the fake papers to a form four student.

Kajiado Central deputy county commissioner Charles Wambugu said the student, who was to receive the documents, will also be required to record a statement.

“The suspect told the police he was handed the documents to deliver to the candidate.”

“The police are tracking down the person who handed the papers to the watchman,” Wambugu told the Star on the phone.

The administrator said the watchman was arrested at about 10pm adding that the girl in question will record a statement as soon as she is through with KCSE.

“We do not want to instill fear or interrupt her concentration as the exams are still ongoing,” Wambugu said.

“As we struggle to ensure examination safety, we are also aware that cartels are out there trying to ensure they craft ways to try and access the examination. We want to assure you that the examination will be safe,” Knec chairperson Goerge Magoha stated.

Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed had assured Kenyans of the credibility of the examinations noting measures have been put in place to ensure the exams run smoothly.

70,000 police officers and over 300 IT experts have been deployed to secure the exam.
