Kenya Airways today commended the team that worked together and put the efforts to be part of making Kenya’s history.
The inaugural flight from Newyork was ably marshaled by KAA’s lady Ground Safty Officer, Ms. Jackline Omare. The flight took off from New York’s JK international Airport on a maiden inaugural return flight at 8:30 pm on Monday shortly after the maiden Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 landed in New York.

Captain George Muli
The Kenyans pilot who flew the KQ 003 Direct flight from New York to Nairobi has 17 years of experience after working with the Kenya Airways since 2001.
Speaking during the public address that was held at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon their arrival, Captain Muli said that he was proud to have been part of making history.
“We are very proud to have done this flight it was a great moment for us. I have the privilege of leading a group of people who worked together to make this happen.”
He also went ahead to introduce the rest of the crew that made this history a reality.
