What Divock Origi is doing to stay at Liverpool

Divock Origi has not yet given up on his dream of making an impact at Liverpool once more.

Origi has promised to keep on working hard and remaining ambitious at Anfield where he is yet to make an appearance this season. The Belgian further revealed that Jurgen Klopp has been a source of inspiration and encouragement to him.

“At 23 I have big ambitions but for me, it’s just about focusing on the here and now and driving on as much as possible and hopefully let my feet talk on the pitch. Goals are a result of you being happy and performing on the pitch and I am aiming to do whatever I can to enjoy it, if that’s in training or if that’s in game. I will try to maximise that and then we can see how it goes.” Origi said.

“I just hope for the best in everything and know that whenever I can shine my light it is a positive for everyone: for the club, for me, for the game that I am trying to impact… so I am really focusing on that. The manager has been encouraging me, as he does with all the players, just trying to push us and bring the best out of us every day.” the forward added.

His last involvement was in a 3-3 draw at Watford last year. He has scored 21 goals for the Reds since joining after the 2014 World Cup.
