Why Eliud Kipchoge is enough proof of pure humility

Kenya Athlete Eliud Kipchoge has today shared a humble message in regard to him being named as United Nations (Kenya) Person of the year.

Many have won awards but this guy convinces me that he is one of the humble men in existence. He makes humility look so easy and common which is untrue.

We have seen popular people who wear pride as their daily garments which is quite irritating…

The world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge was named the United Nations Person of the Year by the United Nations office in Nairobi. An award given for his extraordinary performances, his work on HIV/AIDS in Kenya, and his endurance and courage.

The athlete has received many awards in his  journey as an athlete and gained recognition allover the world  and despite all the praise…

Here are some of his achievements

Kipchoge won his first individual world championship title in 2003 by winning the junior race at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships and setting a world junior record over 5000 m on the track. At the age of eighteen, he became the senior 5000 m world champion at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics with a championships record, then followed with an Olympic bronze for Kenya in 2004 and a bronze at the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships. A five-time World Championship 5000 m finalist, Kipchoge took silver medals at the 2007 World Championships, 2008 Summer Olympics and 2010 Commonwealth Games. (wikipedia)
