The duo’s case followed another case that was heard from a different chamber in Milimani courts, involving the murder of Rongo University Student Sharon Otieno.
The case in which three suspects, Migori governor Okoth Obado and his two aides Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero are involved saw Obado being granted bail by Lady Justice Jessie Lessit.
Judge Wakiaga’s ruling in a case involving Maribe has stirred the internet after prosecution’s request to bar her from anchoring news.
Kenyans on twitter now argue that Obado was released on bail and no one barred him from taking off his duties as a governor.
The furious Kenyans now question why Maribe should be barred from taking off her duties when Obado is still the Migori County governor.
Why is Jacque Maribe’s anchoring an issue? Court never had to determine if Governor Okoth Obado has to continue being governor where in fact higher standards are demanded.

If obado is still the governor, why not maribe?

Some are now questioning the prosecution on how an accused person who is also considered as a flight risk get time to anchor news as they claim.
How can someone who they claim to be a flight risk find the time to anchor news?

That Mwaniki lawyer sounded like she got personal issues with Jackie

But now, how special is this Maribe? Some Kenyans say it’s a shame that even Itumbi from state house is much interested in her release without caring much about her accomplice.
