The heroes are celebrated and much credit is given to their efforts that the country is where it is away from the rule of the colonialists.
Its better to recognize the Living Human As the Heroes& the Heroines, than Giving much time and Energy to our past Memories. This are My ultimate Heroes! You can Only see &taste the beauty of their work when You see them in the front line.#KdfMyUltimateShuja#MashujaaNaKOTLoyals pic.twitter.com/5XYYyQ8VW3

Kenyans have also taken on social media to celebrate who they term as their heroes on this special day. Most people have fought so hard for the rights of the other Kenyans.

Although the colonialists went some Kenyans are still oppressed by our own people. People are leaving in poverty stricken lives oppressed by leaders who are looting and gathering a lot from the tax payers money leaving Kenyans living in desperate conditions.
Honestly guys; with the current state of the nation, lie to me that there's something worth celebrating today. #MashujaaNaKOTLoyals

Most Kenyans have suffered in the hands of rogue police officers especially after elections. Most of them have been brutally beaten , women raped and children even killed. Lands have been displaced and most left leaving as Squatters in their countries .
Personally i cannot celebrate despot and a looters as my shujaa, I can only celebrate those who deserve to be celebrated. My all time shujaa is @MigunaMiguna the only man who is fighting for real chance in Kenya. Bravo miguna i celebrate you #MashujaaDay2018#MashujaaNaKOTLoyals pic.twitter.com/aRgBMUZ1xE
