Just how many exes does embattled Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe have? We all know of the State House parrot Denis Itumbi, comedian Eric Omondi, the man who once showed us his small naked ass dancing in a pool of dirty river water with minors.
Does that mean that Jacque’s test of boyfriends is so poor? Well am not a moral police, and am not in position to judge since I have made some poor decisions in my love life myself.
Anyway, I am here to tell you about Jacque’s other ex, this time a man without controversy. I am talking about Radio Africa’s Digital Editor, Oliver Mathenge.
Jacque and Oliver dated between 2012 and 2013 before Itumbi came into the picture. It is rumored that the three media personalties are very close to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mathenge, a graduate of Daystar University, was also shortlisted for the position of State House Digital Communications Director, a job currently held by Itumbi.
The two have never seen eye to eye with both of them wanting a piece of Jacque Maribe. Ironically both Maribe and Itumbi attended Mathenge’s wedding in 2015.
Itumbi, at the time was dating Jacque and could not let go off the journalist, as he was pictured smothering her at the wedding.
But the relationship did not last for long as Itumbi and the news anchor broke up under unknown circumstances and Maribe ended up dating Joseph Irungu, a gangster who has dragged her to a murder case.
Irungu proposed to Maribe in June this year, and moved in with her. But then hell happened last month as the man has been identified as the first accused in the murder of Monica Kimani.
Jacque is also being held at Langata women’s prison as the second accused for the brutal murder that happened on the night of 19th September in Lamuria Gardens, along Denis Pritt road in Kilimani area, Nairobi.
On Monday, Mathenge threw his weight behind his embattled ex girlfriend as she was taken to court to take plea before Justice Jessie Lessit.

Itumbi was also in court together with Kambua and Muthoni wa Mukiri among other friends to stand in solidarity with Maribe.
Itumbi has been active on his Twitter handle, maintaining that Jacque is innocent until proven guilty.

It seems that there is something Jacque gave to the two men that they’re willing to stand by her despite the fact that she dumped all of them and settled for a guy who took her with him to prison.
