Good news for Arsenal ahead of black Month-November

Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny will be returning to full training by the beginning of November.

Arsenal have taken active steps in the transfer market, according to various reports. Ever since the arrival of Unai Emery at the Emirates, Arsenal underwent a minor club-overhaul, which saw the departure of Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla, two of the mainstays of the midfield.

The Gunners made five signings in the summer, and the results have been terrific for Arsenal so far. Unai Emery’s side is on a nine-match winning streak across all competitions.

Arsenal won six matches in a row in the Premier League after a dismal start to the campaign, which saw them losing both of their opening matches to Man City and Chelsea respectively.

The Gunners are now only two points behind both the sides, who are first and second in the table. With 18 points, Arsenal are fourth, ahead of their city rivals Tottenham Hotspur on goal difference.

Arsenal also receive a huge boost in the return of Laurent Koscielny. The former French international suffered a horrific achilles injury last season, which ruled him out for the World Cup and the first few months of the new season. However, the central defender is ready to make a comeback to the side.

Laurent Koscielny is aiming a return to full training by the beginning of November. Whether the Arsenal captain maintains the same level he had before the injury, is something which would concern the head coach Unai Emery. Koscielny, however, is positive about his comeback.

“I want to continue at Arsenal. I do not know what level I’m going to be at. I haven’t resumed training, but I want to fight,” said Koscielny.
