Kassaine’s walk of freedom has been questioned and criticized by Kenyans on twitter as they expressed their shock wondering how a man who is alleged to have been in possession of an unlicensed gun now walks freely in the streets.
After his freedom, on an interview done on one of the local tv station, Kassaine stated that he cannot speak about his friends ‘Maribe and Irungu’ because the investigations are still ongoing. On his freedom, this is what he had to say “I am just happy to be free and at liberty!”
Kenyans are left with a series of unanswered questions following the release, with some claiming that his narrative is suspicious and does not add up. Although investigations are still ongoing, Kenyans fear that this was not the best move by the investigators
Kassaine had been in custody for 10 days as a suspect over the murder of Monica Kimani. He has been ordered to report to the DCI every Thursday for the next 2 months. The two other suspects, Joseph Irungu and his fiancee Jacque Maribe are expected to take their plea next week on Monday.
Brian Kassaine had been held at Lang’ata Police Station, Kiambu Principal Magistrate Justus Kituku had earlier ordered.
Kassaine, police believe has crucial information that could help the case. He was arrested after detectives recovered the pistol that the prime suspect Joe Irungu aka Jowie is said to have used to shoot himself on the night he is said to have killed Ms Kimani.

This guy is going to snitch on everything and everyone to get a lighter sentence. At the end, he should be charged and held accountable for what he did

What an irony! Giving somebody your gun to shot himself then going a head to become state witness!

So Kassaine is history? Collaborators were from every community. We had chiefs during the colonial regime
