VIDEO: Migne speaks ahead of Harambee stars match

 

Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has called out on Kenyan to turn up in large umbers to support the Kenyan team on Sunday.  “If I had one wish, I hope to have a full stadium on Sunday because it’s amazing to play in this atmosphere. Sometimes you have trouble but the atmosphere was very amazing. I’m not surprised people in Ethiopia are good at that, well done but please I would like to beat you(Ethiopians) in a few days.”

As reported by futaa.com, Migne described the boisterous Ethiopian atmosphere at the Bahir Dar Stadium as “very amazing” as his side picked up a precious point a barren draw of the African Cup of Nations qualifier on Wednesday 10th October. Harambee Stars withered a late onslaught by the Ethiopians to earn a precious away point that sees them requiring only three points to qualify for the 2019 AFCON that is slated for Cameroon. Fans thronged the Bahir Dar Stadium and were in boisterous in the full ninety minutes.

Migne noted that Ethiopians had a massive advantage with the fan turn out, “We missed a couple of opportunities in the match and after that, it’s difficult you know against 12 players. I’m not speaking about the referee, I’m talking about the fans and the amazing atmosphere, and it was difficult for sure even at the beginning of the second half.”
