Dennis Itumbi has been accused of introducing embattled Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe to crime.
That’s is the view of some Kenyans on Twitter. It all started when Itumbi took to the Social Media site to post a prayer message for the journalist.
“You remain in my prayers. May Justice like many waters be done.” Reads part of the message posted on Twitter by the State House Director of Digital, Innovations and Diaspora Communications.
Jacqueline Maribe, you remain in my prayers. May Justice, like many waters be done. May Monica & her family find the answers they deserve & those responsible be punished as per by law established. But may you find Justice, that you equally deserve. You got my hand of friendship

But the message did not go down well with a section of his followers as they descended on him with troll after troll. Perhaps the most controversial of all attacks, was when one person accused Itumbi of introducing Maribe to crime.
According to an account calling itself ‘Citizen’ Maribe saw Itumbi forging documents and getting away with it. ‘She realized she too could commit crimes & benefit from impunity.’
You introduced #JacqueMaribe to crime. She saw you forging documents & getting away with it. She realized she too could commit crimes & benefit from impunity. As you go to bed every day of the rest of your life ponder how your actions thrilled a young woman to addiction to evil

A few people also wondered why Itumbi was posting the message on Twitter instead of going to Langata Women’s prison where Jacque has been remanded and telling it to her face.
You mean Maribe can access Twitter at Langata Prison? Just go visit,Pia leo ni Terrific Tuesday pelekea yeye Pizza.
