Amazing message from Unai to Ramsey after Fulham win

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has stated that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is ‘very important’ to the club following the side’s 5-1 victory over Fulham.

Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring in the 29th minute at Craven Cottage before Andre Schurrle equalised in the dying moments before the break to set up an enticing second half. However, another strike from Lacazette put Arsenal back in front and substitute Ramsey finished off a stunning team move to put the Gunners out of sight.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace in the final ten minutes to wrap up arguably Arsenal’s most convincing win so far this season. Ramsey will become a free agent next summer and the Welshman is expected to leave after talks over a new contract collapsed.

‘For me it’s very important for him to take in confidence. He’s a very important player. ‘Today [he was] not in the starting XI but today he take confidence and, for us, he’s helping the team,” Emery said speaking to BT Sports after the win.

Emery urged his players to continue improving after nine successive wins in all competitions.
