Kenyans feel like Obado’s illness was bound and expected. Migori Governor Okoth Obado is currently admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital after he reportedly fell sick while at the Industrial Area Remand Prison.We are told by medical sources that the governor is responding well to treatment and might be back to his feet soon.
This comes days after the claims that Migori County Governor who is in police custody; in relation to the murder of Sharon Otieno, has been receiving special treatment. Sources had earlier revealed that Obado was given a comfortable bed, mattress; An officer assigned to attend to him and visitors freely allowed to see him; Obado is still in civilian clothes. Police however rubbished these claims saying that he is treated in accordance to the regulations.
