Man United Fans to Boycott Valencia Clash

Manchester United’s slump has been highlighted with the fact that the famous club are struggling to sell out for their Champions League clash.

Some fans are choosing to stay away in a protest, with Jose Mourinho’s ‘negative tactics.’

Manchester United have historically always sold out for the big games, especially the Champions League on Tuesdays.

There are 34 blocks available to buy tickets in, including six in the West stand, nine in the North, five in the East and 14 in the South.

The prices vary from £13 for under-16s to £58 for non-members in the most expensive seats.

But as things stand, there will be banks of empty seats at the 75,000 capacity-ground for their Group H game with Valencia on Tuesday evening.

Matic Rallies Teammates

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has called on his team-mates to step up to the mark, saying they will find out who the real leaders are during the Champions League tie with Valencia on Tuesday night.

It has been a tough week for the ‘Red Devils’ on and off the pitch, but the season goes on and Matic wants to make a statement.

“The leaders need to be on the pitch,” the Serbian said.

“The leaders are not scared to play, so we will see tomorrow who are the leaders.

“Everyone has a responsibility. We have spoken between us and we know the situation is not good and we can do better. Everyone is trying to do more for the team.

“Tomorrow is a great chance to do that against a big team. I expect everyone will give more and be more concentrated.

Matic is confident that Mourinho can turn it around at Old Trafford. GOAL

“Saturday we didn’t play but we gave our best in that moment. This game was really bad but we have a responsibility for that. I don’t believe any player goes to the pitch and doesn’t give his best. Something wasn’t good.

“For me, I played one of the worst games since I signed for Man Utd. I look in the mirror and see where I can do better.”
