Migori County Governor Okoth Obado’s aides Caspal Obiero and Michael Oyamo have pleaded not guilty to the charges linking them to the gruesome murder Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.
Caspal appeared before Justice Jessie Lessit on Thursday at Milimani Law Courts where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Defence team applied for bail even as the Prosecution opposed the application.
Prosecution has now requested for Michael Oyamo & Caspal Obiero’s cases to be consolidated.
Justice Jessie Lessit ordered for Obiero to be remanded till 8th October.
Obado’s PA Michael Oyamo was also on Wednesday remanded till October 8th as the court now asks the defense to merge the two cases together.
