The Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko reportedly renamed Pumwani Maternity Hospital as, Sonko Pumwani Women’s Hospital & College of Nursing & Midwifery.
On a post he shared on facebook in response to a concern by a Kenyan who questioned his move, he said that it was just a proposal.
He went ahead to explain that his intentions by giving that proposal was meant to restore the public confidence after the completion of the new hospital wing since it is a new hospital.
On the same post, Governor Mike Sonko had also shared details as he tagged the EACC and DCI on twitter providing the link to information which he claimed to be revealing information on the earlier stalled project which was set to upgrade the Pumwani hospital.
Another Kenyan responded and said that all they want was services and not just names.
