President Uhuru Kenyatta has shared his message of condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic accident that happened in Tanzania yesterday.
In his message, he said ” No words can adequately express our grief following this tragic accident. My heart goes out to those who have lost their lives and their families. We, as your neighbour, are deeply heartbroken by what happened.”
He also assured and expressed the solidarity and support of Kenyans to our brothers and sisters in Tanzania.

About 42 people drowned when the ferry sank on Thursday in Lake Victoria and government officials fear the toll could be more than 200. Sources reveal that the estimated number of people who were on the ferry were about 300. Rescue operations are still ongoing.
