Arsenal striker says The Gunners can win the Europa League

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang believes Arsenal are capable of winning the Europa League in 2018-19.

The Gabonese striker helped the Gunners, scoring a brace to make a winning start to their European campaign against Vorskla Poltava and is looking to go all the way upto winning it.

The Gunners got their continental quest off to a perfect start on Thursday with  a 4-2 victoy oer Vorskla Poltava.

Unai Emery’s side were always in complete control against Ukrainian opposition, with a brace from Aubameyang seeing them open up a four-goal lead at Emirates Stadium.

With last year’s semi-finalists now up and running in Europe once more, Aubameyang – who was prevented from turning out in the Europa League for Arsenal last season following a January move from Germany’s Borussia Dortmund is looking to go all the way and winning it.

The Gabonese striker said, “I’m really happy to be back in this competition and we want to go to the final of course.

“I think we played well in the first half and the beginning of the second as well. We scored four goals.

“We have to improve and try to fight, and not concede a goal like we did in the last minute.”
