There was something inherently Arsenaly about the way Unai Emery’s team turned a 4-0 cruise so gentle Alexandre Lacazette was almost horizontal watching from the substitutes’ bench into a choppy, slightly unnerving finish. FC Vorskla, fifth in the Ukrainian Premier League, roused themselves to score two screamers in the closing stages of this Europa League group game, which left Emery pondering the defensive itch he is unable to scratch out of his squad yet. Arsenal have not kept a clean sheet all season.
Yet despite the late setback in terms of the clean-sheet, Arsenal were so impressive and in particular Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi. The 22 year old has only started one Premier League match this season, against Chelsea. He scored in the Chelsea match but manager Unai Emery is yet to select him for a start ever since.
On Thursday night however, the Arsenal academy graduate gave an effervescent performance and even set up the first Arsenal goal for striker Aubameyang. The performance led to many Arsenal fans calling for Iwobi to Start their next Premier League match, at home to Everton.
Best player..
Iwobi has been the best player on the pitch by a mile so far

Iwobi having a cracking game. So much of his performance seems to be in his head, at the moment he's moving with zip, always asking for the ball and looking to commit his opponents.

Man Of the match..
Iwobi was very good tonight. Probably my MOTM. I loved how he kept taking on players. It kept them on edge. Our players should do this more. He almost looked like a proper winger, which we really need. #AFCvVOR pic.twitter.com/XZRRVe7tl3

Iwobi good..
Aside from the two late goals it was a really enjoyable Arsenal performance. Iwobi, Miki, Sokratis & Aubameyang all shone brightly. Liked the team’s attitude. Good fun.

One touch master..
Loving iwobi this season. Last season he’d have take extra touches and tried to cut in. This season, one touch, good cross, goal.

9/10
Iwobi dropped a 9/10. Sokratis showing his stuff. Torreira is the man. Auba with the Henry curve. Smith promising. Not a good debut for Leno. 3 point in the bag. On to the next. #COYG #AFC
