Carlo Ancelotti Aware of Redstar threat ahead of UCL meeting

SSC Napoli headcoach  Carlo Ancelotti has said they are not going to take lightly their Champion’s  Group C match opener against  debutants Red Star Belgrade.

Speaking in  the press conference on Monday, The two-time Champions league winner says that they know they are in a tough group, and that it is important to make a good start  can not afford to slip up. He also said that they are aware of Red Star’s impressive Home Form.

Ancelotti  also said that they know  Red Star played very well in the Europa League last season and are dominant in the Serbian league, hence they  will head into the clash with the utmost respect for  the Serbian Club.

The former Ac Millan  and Real Madrid manager said they want to do well in the Champions League this season because it’s a great competition and he know his players too will be motivated by the atmosphere in Belgrade.

Red Star on the other hand tore apart 10-man Radnik Surdulica 6-0 on Saturday in their Serbian League to stretch their perfect start of the season  to seven wins, having knocked out Salzburg on away goals to reach the Champions League group stage for the very first time in their History.

Red Star coach Vladan Milojevic was confident his underrated team  could give Europe’s heavyweights a run for their money.

Vladan said that they are not there to just make up the numbers, and heading into every match against Europe’s finest devoid of any pressure can only play into their hands.

He concluded by saying that, they know who they are up against but they have come this far and don’t want to stop there.Also  With all due respect to Napoli, they fear no one and the fans can put extra wind in their sails.
