Migori Governor Okoth Obado has been summoned to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation offices in Kisumu to record a statement over the murder of Ms. Sharon Otieno who was murdered on Tuesday Evening and her body dumbed at Kodera Forest in Homa Bay County.
The governor was reported to had arrived at Kisumu Regional Police headquarters to record the statement.
Sharon was abducted on Monday night at Homa Bay town alongside Nation journalist Barrack Oduor, who managed to escape after jumping out of a moving vehicle.
Others who have been linked with Sharon’s death include Governor Obado’s personal assistant who is currently been arraigned in court waiting to be charged.
