East African Queens are set to meet in one platform after been nominated for an international award.
Ugandan Socialite Zari Hassan, Tanzania’s Hamisa Mobetto and Sarah Hassan are set to battle it out in this year’s Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) Awards that be happenning in the UK.
BEFFTA has released its list of nominees for Best East African Woman Entrepreneur 2018, with a total of seven women will be competing for the Award.
According to BEFFTA’s Instagram page, fans will get to vote for each one of the 7 entrepreneurs on their list and the winner will get the chance to present the East Africa Arts show.

Zari also has been nominated in another category of Best African Inspirational Women, where she will battle it out with Wema Sepetu, Avril and other five women.
The Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts awards were created to help enhance visibility of African, Caribbean and Asian personalities in the creative and leadership industries.
London will be celebrating the BEFFTA Week with exclusive 6 day gala and awards in a top hotel from 23rd October – 28th October, 2018.
