As a result, Mignolet is likely to be restricted to just Carabao Cup action at the most, unless Alisson suffers an injury.

Before then, Liverpool go to Wembley to face Tottenham in the Premier League, they host PSG in the Champions League and welcome Southampton to Merseyside in the top flight again.
Alisson has conceded just once in four league games so far for the Reds, who have a 100 per cent record at the start of the campaign.
