It is fair to say that Arsenal has a huge wage bill each week. This was made worse with the new contract of Mesut Ozil. There are plenty of players who are doing a great job in the youth setup but are not being rewarded. Sadly under Unai Emery, it looks as though things won’t be changing.
He will pay big bills, to keep players at the club. So the alternative is to allow players to leave on loan or permanently. This would benefit the club hugely. One of the reasons is because they don’t have to pay the wages of the player if they are out on loan. The second reason is it provides players with game time. That to them is more important. Players need to be given time to play and ply their craft of the field. This will benefit them and also benefit the club. When they return they will have much more experience, and that is a good thing for everyone concerned.
3 Joe Willock

Joe Willock, just like Reiss Nelson, had an impressive debut season in the 2017/18 campaign. He played regularly in the Cup Competitions, and he even played on a few occasions in the Premier League. This included a brave performance against Newcastle United.
The brother of Benfica players Chris Willock looked set for a great season. It has not been the case however so far. He was barely included in the Preseason tour and he is yet to play in a competitive match. This is not all. He was a regular in first-team training last season, but this season he is training with the reserves.
2 Cohen Bramall
Before he signed for Arsenal, no one had heard of him. In truth, most still have no clue who he is. He joined Arsenal after he became a viral sensation for a rabona assist in the non-league and immediately joined up with the under 23s.
However, he made little progress on loan at Birmingham City last season playing less than 10 times. An injury also got in his way and he does not look likely to feature at Arsenal.
1 Carl Jenkinson
Jenkinson looks as though his long career at Arsenal may be over. He has been at the club since 2011, but a handful of injuries have hindered his development. He’s gone from a player with potential, to a player without potential.
He spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Brigham City. This did not go well, as he broke his leg. This sidelined him for much of the season, and he made just 5 appearances.
