After several months of speculations regarding his future at Chelsea, Belgian International, Thibaut Courtois finally departed the Stamford Bridge and completed his long-awaited move to join Real Madrid in the La Liga this summer. The goalkeeper became one of the most expensive signings in the Spanish top flight during this transfer window, with Los Blancos coughing out up to £35 million to lure him away from the English Premier League.

2. Vinicius Junior

Following the footsteps of his idol Neymar Junior, Brazilian starlet Vinicius departed the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and completed a dream move to the La Liga where he signed a 6-year-contract with Spanish giants, Real Madrid. Despite his age, Los Blancos did not hesitate to make the attacker one of the most expensive signings in the Spanish top flight this summer, coughing out a massive £40 million to beat their European rivals to the signing of the youngster.

1.Thomas Lemar

Atletico Madrid have made themselves one of the favorites to win the La Liga title this season, with their incredible acquisitions from the transfer market – which included the capturing of former Monaco superstar, Thomas Lemar. The Rojiblancos made the attacker the most expensive acquisition in their history as well as the most expensive signing in the Spanish top flight this summer – paying a whopping £63.2 million to convince the Ligue 1 outfit to part ways with their star forward.

Lemar has begun his Atletico career on a brilliant note, helping the Spanish side to claim the UEFA Super Cup recently. He will continue lining up alongside some of his international teammates including Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez at Wanda Metropolitano this season.
