The Unai Emery era hasn’t kicked off as expected with 2 losses in the first two games to rivals City and Chelsea.

Though Arsenal have done well in the transfer window, the results on the pitch have not been positive. With the departure of the legendary Arsene Wenger, it can take quite sometime for Arsenal to mount a serious title challenge.

Signing these 3 players might take them a step closer to that:

1.James Tarkowski

Although Arsenal signed Sokratis they still need another good defender to partner him. Mustafi has been average since his arrival from Valencia and Koscielny picked up an injury at the end of last season which is a long-term injury. Could Tarkowksi be the man who can bring that much needed stability to the team? The Englishman endured a great season last year as he lead Burnley to a Europe league finish. He and Ben Mee formed a great partnership throughout the whole of last season, he was being monitored by Arsenal last season but a transfer never went through.

2. Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial a player graced with immense talent and ability just hasn’t found the consistency to fully stage his talent under Jose Mourinho.

A player who excelled under former Manchester United manager LVG. But has failed to flourish under Jose Mourinho, some people blame the manager and his agenda against the Frenchmen. Others feel it is the player himself that is to blame.

But nonetheless he is a player who has the talent to become the best in world football we have seen moments of brilliance from him. But like I stated earlier he’s lacking in the consistency department.

3.  Ousmane Dembele

A Frenchmen and winger also like Martial, Dembele is also graced with talent and has the ability to become one of the best wingers in the world. But injury and lack of form have prevented him from really showing us what he can do. The signing of Malcolm has also put his place in jeopardy, the Guardian reported that Arsenal wanted to get him on a loan deal with an option to make that permanent end of the season. But his transfer failed and Arsenal didn’t land their man. But they could go for him in the January market.

The player possess the ability to play with both feet, he is also very quick and can cause any defender stress. It would be great if Arsenal could get this deal over the line, getting him on loan would be great as it will show us how he will cope in the Premier league. But if Arsenal want to make it permanent according to the  daily star £105 million price tag has been set on the French World Cup winner.
