The former Real Madrid manager is out of work after quitting the Bernabeu at the end of last season.

But he has reportedly agreed to join Juve’s technical staff and will work alongside Fabio Paratici as a director, according to Spanish outlet Libertad Digital. That claimed was backed up by radio station El Primer Palo on Tuesday night.

Zidane’s supposed appointment at Juve comes just days after Cristiano Ronaldo signed for the club.

Ronaldo arrived in a £105million deal and he was unveiled at the club this week.

But what deals could he do if he does get the job?

Juventus transfer news – incomings

In terms of incomings, there are three Premier League names in the frame.

The first is Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, who bookies Paddy Power believe is the most likely to join. He is even-money to swap London for Turin.

Alvaro Morata is another option. Chelsea are interested in signing Gonzalo Higuain and are willing to let Juve have Morata as part of the deal. The Spaniard is 17/10 to return to his former club.

Anthony Martial is deemed more of an outsider. Of the three, Martial seems most certain to leave his club this summer. Manchester United don’t want to sell but Martial’s agent has made no secret of the fact that his man wants to move on. Paddy Power make it a 7/1 shot to be to Juventus.

There are other options away from the Premier League, too.

PSG midfielder Marco Verratti has been linked with the exit door too with Juventus’ name in the frame.

Then there’s Alexsandr Golovin, the CSKA Moscow man who has impressed at the World Cup with Russia too. Chelsea are also in for him.

Juventus transfer news – outgoings

Following the signing of Ronaldo it’s likely that there will be more outs than ins.

Gonzalo Higuain, wanted by Chelsea, could be on the move. Paddy Power make him 4/11 to go.

Left-back Alex Sandro is nearing the exit door with Manchester United keen. However, the Red Devils know that interest in the player isn’t high and have waited on doing any deal. He is 8/11 to complete a move to Old Trafford.

Mario Mandzukic, the man who helped knock England out the World Cup, is 2/1 to follow Sandro to United while Paulo Dybala is an outside shot to join Liveprool at 6/1.

Will Zidane join Juventus?

The French boss was appointed Real head coach in January 2016 and oversaw a period of European dominance at the Bernabeu. But he quit in May, citing fatigue, and was replaced by Julen Lopetegui.

Zidane moving to Juventus would certainly not be a surprise, considering his history with the club.

The former midfielder was Juve’s for five years before he was sold to Real for a then-record transfer fee of €77.5m in 2001.

He left Juventus having won two Serie A titles but never clinched the Champions League with the Old Lady.

He was signed after Juve beat Ajax on penalties in the 1996 final and was on the losing side in both 1997 and 1998 as the Turin club lost to Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid respectively.

No confirmation of his appointment has been made.
