Sandro will sign, Juventus received offer after Blind exit – claim

Manchester United want Juventus defender Sandro to bolster their defence for next season.

The Red Devils are trying to make room for new recruits, having sold Daley Blind back to former club Ajax for a fee that could rise to as much as £18.1million.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of Sandro who, despite Luke Shaw’s supposed improvement, remains on his radar.

PSG are also trying to sign the Juventus player.

But journalist Pilib De Brun, who has worked for TalkSport, Beyond the Pitch and NBC, expects Sandro to become a United player.

“Alex Sandro, now that Daley Blind is gone, I think that deal will go through,” he said on Periscope.

“They have an offer of £30million and Matteo Darmian at the moment.

“And if Juventus choose to accept it I think that deal will go through.”

Agent Federico Pastorello tipped United target Sandro to leave Juventus after he failed to join Chelsea in 2017.

Speaking earlier this year, he said: “I need to point out first that I am not Alex Sandro’s agent, but I did work on his possible move to Chelsea over the summer.

“After a few years at Juve, he’ll probably want to look around and the Premier League is the place to go.

“I expect some movement from him and the fact he didn’t extend his contract is a clue.”

Sandro is one of three players United are targeting.

They continue to track Tottenham’s Toby Aldwerweireld despite Spurs, so far, proving stubborn negotiators.

And Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale is another player on their radar.
