Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has apparently threatened to quit Liverpool following the club’s Reds’ failure to sign Nabil Fekir.
Fekir was set to join Liverpool from Lyon but the Reds reportedly tried to lower the transfer fee after discovering an ongoing knee issue during his medical, which led to the deal’s collapse.
According to Spanish reports, Salah wanted the France international to join the Merseysiders following a remarkable season in France, and is unhappy at how the deal broke down.
It is now claimed that Salah has sent his club an ultimatum expressing his feelings and is now thought to be considering offers from Barca and Real
Salah’s impressive form for club and country over the past 12 months has seen him linked with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, as well as several other big European clubs.
The 25 year old Egyptian had a successful season scoring 44 goals and registering 14 assists in 53 appearances in all competitions.
Salah is contracted to Liverpool until June 2022.
