Premier League giants Liverpool are the current favourites to secure a deal for Benfica midfielder Talisca. Talisca, a gifted attacking midfielder with an eye for goal, made the move to Europe in 2014 as a highly-regarded youngster from Brazilian outfit Bahia.
Benfica were the club who opted to splash out around 5 million Euro on his signature, but, after two seasons at the Estadio Da Luz, Talisca was surprisingly loaned out to Turkish giants Besiktas on a one-year loan deal with the option for a second.
And the former Selecao youth international has since blossomed into the type of player that many had previously foreseen during his two-year spell at Vodafone Park, with Talisca having racked up 16 goals and 6 assists during his debut campaign in Turkey, and a further 20 goals and 7 assists this past season.
