Newly appointed Arsenal manager Unai Emery was unable to snatch midfielder Fabinho from Liverpool, according to reports.
Arsenal is reported to have done its best to lure him to Emirates but the Reds managed to sign and confirmed his signing on Monday night.
SkySports reports that Unai Emery spent the weekend trying to persuade the midfielder to move to the Emirates. At that point, it was too late though, as he’d already decided to join the Champions League finalists.
