On Monday Kenya joined other countries that had been invited for the relocation event of the US embassy from Tel-aviv to Jerusalem.
According to Israel’s Foreign Affairs ministry 86 countries with Israel’s diplomatic mission had been invited and only 33 showed up at he opening, with Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda and Ethiopia being the only African states that were represented.
The move to have Kenya at the ceremony has been speculated to trigger more terror attacks, 10 days after the US Embassy in Kenya issued terror attacks warnings ahead of the event.
Following the relocation 58 people were killed after protests broke out in Gaza strip. This was termed as a religious war fighting over Jerusalem a move that saw Israel and Palestine come against each other.
