Big Update on Alex Ferguson’s Recovery

Alex Ferguson is on the road to recovery as the 76-year-old Scot has been moved out of intensive care after undergoing brain surgery on the weekend.

“Sir Alex Ferguson no longer needs intensive care and will continue rehabilitation as an inpatient,” a club statement read.

The 76-year-old was rushed into emergency surgery on Saturday night after suffering a brain hemorrhage and social media was flooded with get well soon messages for the iconic manager. Ferguson last appeared in public on April 28, when United hosted Arsenal at Old Trafford.

“His family have been overwhelmed by the level of support and good wishes but continue to request privacy as this will be vital during this next stage of recovery,” the statement added.
